"If you do it right, you will be privileged to have transformed a life.” - Diana Hanbury King
To empower students to understand and overcome their learning challenges, and feel successful in their reading and spelling skills.
To empower parents to understand and support their children while advocating for their needs.
To empower educators to understand how to best meet the needs of each individual learner in their classroom.
An Important Message:
Over the years, I have learned the POWER in speaking openly with children about their struggles. Teaching a child about how their brain is working, and the ways our instruction is helping to rewire their brains to work more efficiently so they can read and spell more easily can be so empowering. Being open and honest with children about their challenges can help them learn that they are not alone, and that there is nothing wrong with them. This is the first step in helping children feel confident and become ready to access new learning.
Coaching sessions are available for educators who need support in teaching reading or with supporting their special education students.
1:1 virtual consultations are available over single or multiple sessions. We will discuss your needs for support within reading and/or special education and identify strategies that can be implemented in order to support your students.
