Within parent consultations, we will discuss your child's history and current supports, as well as discuss goals. We will determine next steps and help put those steps into action to get your child the support they need.
We will review document history, including evaluations, support requests, and IEPs, and give feedback based on current services and goals.
We will attend PPTs with you to help you communicate concerns, share requests for services or evaluations, and help you to understand the special education process and information shared within the meeting. We will help you ask questions to understand supports in place or that are being proposed. We will be by your side advocating for the supports your child needs.
We will help you to communicate your child's needs clearly with schools via email and in person at meetings.
We will review your child's educational records and history, and develop a comprehensive document that outlines this history. We will also help you to develop an effective record keeping strategy to ensure that you are maintaining records for your child.
